A cold front moved through overnight and continues to move off to the east today. Showers overnight produced anywhere from a quarter to three quarters of an inch at the ski areas in the region. Cloud cover remains at some resorts this morning, but there are a few locations that are already seeing the sun peeking through. As the front progresses to the east today, the clouds should move out by the afternoon as high pressure builds into the region. The West Virginia locations will see those clouds stick around into the late afternoon/early evening.

Tomorrow sees an abundance of sunshine as high pressure remains in control. It’s going to be a very nice day. Enjoy it if you can because the weekend looks nasty.

Cloud cover increases during the evening hours tomorrow as our next system approaches. An area of low pressure will track across the Midwest this weekend and will bring widespread showers to the region for both Saturday and Sunday and even into part of Monday.
