A Chilly Start to the Week 9-24-2012

What a chilly start to the week!  We saw our first frost of the season this morning as lows dipped into the 30’s for most everyone in the region.  Sunny skies are already warming things up this morning but it will stay relatively cool today.  Look for frost advisories once again tonight for the valleys.  Low temps will be a few degrees warmer though so frost won’t be quite as widespread.

High pressure is going to dominate our weather for the next several days.  Tuesday and Wednesday will see continued sunshine and high temperatures will increase each day.  By Wednesday, we’ll be back in the mid 70’s.

Clouds increase Thursday ahead of an advancing cold front.  Right now, the front looks as if it will pass through during the wee hours on Friday and then will stall out to our south for the weekend.  This will keep cool-ish temps and cloud cover in the forecast for Friday through Sunday.  Scattered showers are possible each day but those chances are low right now.
