Cloud cover exists at some locations this morning as an upper level disturbance is moving over the region. This disturbance will exit very soon and everyone should see sunshine by the afternoon.
High pressure is building into the region and will stick around through tomorrow. We’ll see much warmer temperatures and an abundance of sunshine. It should make for spring-like conditions at the ski areas.
A cold front approaches the region Saturday, moving through during the day. Cloud cover will persist all weekend and temperatures will remain cool. Showers are possible for locations in North Carolina, but those chances are low as of right now.
