Late Season Pow WV 3-25-13

What a way to start the final week of March! The snow started falling yesterday and it was coming down rather hard at times.  Snowshoe is reporting 8″ this morning.  It’s a pow Monday there!

Snow showers and unseasonably cold conditions continue for the next several days.  The heaviest snow will be today but the flakes will keep flying through Thursday.  Additional accumulations between now and then look to be in the 6-12″ range.

Things calm down during the latter half of Thursday.  Friday and Saturday will see the return of sunshine as high pressure takes control.  Temperatures moderate each day but highs will still be well below normal. Our next front moves through early Monday, and we’ll begin to see increased cloud cover from it on Sunday.
