More Wintry Weather Tomorrow NC 2-18-13

The active pattern continues this week as multiple systems will create more wintry weather for the region.  I personally am loving it!

Today has started out in a rather gorgeous manner and those pleasant conditions will persist for the entirety of the day.  Much warmer temperatures than this weekend and bluebird skies will make for a perfect day on the slopes.

Our next system quickly approaches the region overnight.  The associated cold front will move through tomorrow morning and snow showers will greet you when you wake up.  These snow showers could turn to a wintry mix as temperatures warm after sunrise.  It’s a quick moving system and the majority of everyone will see precip end by noon.  Accumulations look to be pretty similar to our most recent events with totals ranging from a dusting to a couple inches for the higher elevations.

Canadian high pressure returns for Wednesday.  Chilly temperatures and breezy winds will make for some blustery conditions, even with an abundance of sunshine.  Thursday will see continued sunshine and temperatures will moderate significantly from the day before.

Our next system arrives Friday and looks to bring yet another wintry mix event into play.  Precip could last into Saturday before we dry out for the final day of the weekend.
