Scattered Snow and Rain Showers WV 2-5-13

A few scattered showers remain this morning but in general the rest of the day will be dry, albeit cloudy.  A separate clipper system will move through tonight and bring about the chance for a wintry mix/snow showers tonight.  Accumulations of a couple inches are possible tonight for the northern half of the region, with lessening totals the further south you go.  It won’t be significant by any means.

High pressure moves in tomorrow and any lingering clouds and/or snow showers should begin to wane out by midday.  Sunshine in the afternoon will accompany breezy winds.

The first half of Thursday looks to see much warmer temperatures in addition to continued sunny skies.  Clouds will be on the increase in the afternoon though ahead of our next system which will bring rain to the region beginning Thursday evening.  These showers will continue into the first half of Friday before tapering off by midday.

The weekend looks rather  nice with slightly above average temperatures and plenty of sunshine, especially on Saturday.  Sunday will see an increase in cloud cover but it shouldn’t be overcast.
