Summer has arrived. The unseasonably cool weather this spring will be a distant memory by the end of the week as warm, dare I say hot, weather is in our forseeable future.
A warm front moved through the region last night and will continue to progress off to the north today. Behind that front, we're in a very warm airmass now. Temps today will be several degrees above average. Expect a lot of clouds though and scattered afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms are expected.
A Bermuda high in the western Atlantic will jump start summer. Temps from Wednesday to Saturday will be approaching 80 each day and an abundance of sunshine will prevail. A few isolated storms are possible tomorrow. There is a chance of some late day storms Friday and Saturday, but those chances are very slim right now and the general thought is that we'll stay dry.
A cold front looks to move through on Monday. Look for increasing clouds during the day on Sunday with some late afternoon scattered precip.
