Warmer temps begin to invade the region today as wind flow will be from a southwesterly direction. Mild, moist air will move into the area and by the afternoon, an upper level disturbance will pass overhead. As a result of these two factors, rain showers will begin later this afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are possible as well. Showers continue overnight before things clear up tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow sees spring-like weather as that southwesterly wind flow continues. We’re going to see very mild weather. If you’re ready for spring, then you’re going to love tomorrow as it’s going to be a preview of it.

A cold front will move through early on Friday. Showers begin Thursday night and will continue into Friday. A few flurries on Friday night are not out of the question as colder air filters in behind the front.

High Temps on Saturday will be a good 20-25 degrees colder than Thursday and winds will be rather breezy. High pressure settles back in so we’ll see a return to sunshine and blue skies. Sunday looks particularly nice as temps look seasonable and it will be a bluebird day at the ski areas.
