What A Chilly Start to the Week NC! 9-23-13

The first Monday of fall has brought us some chilly morning temps.  Boone officially dipped down to 40 degrees this morning.  Oh yeah!

Fall will be in full swing over the next couple of days as high pressure to our north will keep temps on the cool side, even with a good amount of sunshine.  It's going to be pretty nice outside!

The middle of the week looks less than stellar.  An area of low pressure over the Gulf Coast combined with an upper level disturbance moving in from the west will create widespread showers Tuesday night, Wednesday, and into Thursday.  Wednesday will be cool, damp, and dreary.  You won't be missing anything by staying inside.  Showers and clouds continue into Thursday but we should begin to see some improvement by the afternoon.

The good news is that the weekend will see conditions rebound nicely.  More beatiful fall weather is in store as high pressure returns, allowing for a three day stretch of sunshine and near normal temps for this time of year.  Woohoo!
