WV 12-8-11

Here’s a look at snow totals from the ski areas over the past 18 hours.

Snowshoe – 4″
Canaan & Timberline – 10.1″
Winterplace – 4″

High pressure is settling into the region. Cloud cover should clear out here shortly and sunny skies and chilly temperatures will persist through at least the first part of next week. The only bump in the road is a weak, dry cold front that will move through late Friday. This will keep temperatures in check for the weekend. There will be some cloud cover late Friday/Saturday morning as a result, but that will clear out quickly. The chance for a snow shower does exist but nothing of significance is expected.  Other than that, the weather will be rather calm over the next several days.
