WV 2-11-12

An arctic cold front is passing through the region as I type this. Snow showers overnight produced some decent accumulations across the state at the ski areas. Snow will continue today as the front progresses off to the east. Six to twelve inches is expected at the ski resorts in West Virginia and Maryland. In addition very cold temperatures and high winds will produce wind chills that are below zero. Bundle up if you’re out today!

Snow showers continue into Sunday before tapering off in the afternoon. High pressure builds into the region and Monday looks to be really nice. We’ll see warmer temps and a good bit of sunshine.

Clouds increase overnight on Monday as our next system approaches. More snow is possible Tuesday and into Wednesday.
