WV 3-6-12

High pressure currently sits over the region and will remain in place through Thursday. Today will feature an abundance of sunshine and seasonable temps. It’s going to be rather beautiful.

As the high progresses off to our east tomorrow, winds turn to a southerly direction. This will create an influx of milder, moister air into the region. Temperatures moderate tomorrow and spring-like conditions will exist at the ski areas.

Temperatures moderate even more for Thursday and highs will reach 60 for some locations. Clouds build throughout the day as a cold front approaches the region.  Scattered showers are possible by the late afternoon.  The front moves through on Thursday night, bringing widespread showers to the region through Friday morning.
