Well, after a few damp days it looks like we can look forward to the weekend as it’s going to be a rather nice one. A cold front moved through last night, creating some heavy rainfall in places yesterday afternoon and evening. Driving up 105 into town last night was somewhat difficult at times. This morning though, we’re seeing clearing skies but it is pretty breezy out there. High pressure is beginning to build into the region and will continue to do so today and tomorrow. As a result, it will be sunny, but cool. Breezy winds will also persist as the pressure gradient tightens but should die down by the afternoon tomorrow.
Sunday will be even better, as temperatures will warm up and blue skies will prevail. Monday will continue with this theme before another cold front arrives on Tuesday. This one looks to be pretty interesting as we’ll see another shot of cold air, possibly even some flurries once again on the mountaintops. It’s too far out right now to be certain though. Enjoy your weekend!
