A Brief Break Today

We’re going to see a brief break from the wet, chilly weather today.  Clouds should diminish greatly by lunch time and while they will not disappear completely, mostly sunny skies should prevail.  Temperatures will rise into the low 50’s making for a pleasant afternooon in the High Country.

The nice weather isn’t going to last long though, as yet another low pressure system is going to track across the Southeastern states throughout the day today, making it’s entrance into the region by this evening.  Skies will begin to cloud back up by evening and rain will arrive around midnight, lasting through the day tomorrow.  Temperatures will struggle to get into the mid 40’s, so it’s going to be another wet and chilly day.  Showers will taper off by late afternoon tomorrow.

Behind this system is another disturbance that will make for some more interesting weather.  Rain is a guarantee but snow is also a possibility.

By the end of the weekend we will begin to transition out of this weather pattern and see a return to spring weather for next week.
