A Chilly Start to the Week NC 11-4-13

The beginning of the week will be rather pleasant as high pressure at the surface will keep things on the calm side.  Chilly-ish temperatures and plenty of sunshine will persist today.  Highs won't get out of the 40's today and another froze/freeze is in store for tonight.  I love it!

Tomorrow will see much of the same except temperatures will be bumped up a few degrees.  Increased clouds at night will also keep us from seeing another frost event.

By Wednesday, the area of high pressure will be off the New England coast, turning wind flow to a more southeasterly (and upslope) direction.  Increasing clouds through the day will be a prelude to showers developing at night ahead of our next front.  That cold front moves through the region on Thursday, creating showers throughout the day and into the night.  Enough said.

Cool, high pressure settles in Friday and we're looking at a several day stretch of some very nice weather.  Friday will be on the nippy side and very similar to today.  Saturday and Sunday will be a little warmer.  Each day sees plenty of sunshine though.
