Today is going to be a continuation of the gorgeous weather lately. I’m looking forward to playing tennis up at Seven Devils after work as it should be picture perfect weather. Change is in the forecast though…
High pressure remains in control of our weather. Today will feature warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine. High temps today will be in the upper 60’s to around 70 degrees. Awesome!
A cold front is on the way though and will make it’s way into the region by tomorrow night. Clouds will build thoughout the day tomorrow and showers will commence by the late afternoon/early evening hours. Temperatures tomorrow will still be mild but 5-7 degrees cooler than today.
Friday is looking to be a pretty nasty end to the work week. The front will be off to our east, but a fast moving area of low pressure will track along it, pushing moisture into the region and creating showers thoughout the day. Temperatures behind the cold front are going to be chilly as highs will only get into the low to mid 40’s. By the evening, these showers could turn to snow flurries for some locations.
Chilly temperatures persist on Saturday, but we should see a thinning of the clouds. Low temperatures on Saturday night will be downright cold as everyone will see a freeze. Sunday will see a slight warmup and a return to sunshine.
