A Sunny Couple of Days

After a pretty dreary Tuesday, the next couple of days are looking to be quite pleasant.  We have some clouds still lingering in the area this morning, but they will soon get out here, giving way to sunny skies.  Temperatures will remain fairly cool today though, with highs only in the upper 50’s to around 60.  Northwest winds will be somewhat breezy today as well.  Lows tonight will dip into the 30’s, with the possibility of frost in the valleys.

High pressure remains in control of our weather for tomorrow.  Temperatures will be a good 5-10 degrees warmer than today and once again blue skies will prevail.

We’ll begin to see the effects of an approaching cold front by Friday morning.  Clouds will begin to thicken, with showers and thunderstorms beginning by the late afternoon hours, lasting overnight and all day Saturday.  Rainfall amounts will be fairly significant with this system as most locations will see 1-2″, with the upper limit of that range reserved for those places that get caught in thunderstorms.

Precipitation will taper off Saturday night, with a decrease in cloud cover as well.  The sun will return for Sunday, but temperatures will be cool, with highs only in the low to mid 50’s.  Sunshine will stick around for the first half of next week, with a moderation of temperatures taking place as well.
