Continued Cloudiness and Rain

Man, it sure has been pretty crummy over the past several days.  I am loving this cooler weather, but at the same time it would be nice to see some sunshine.  Unfortunately, it looks like that won’t be happening until the weekend…

The remnants of a cold front are creating showers across the region this morning.  Looking at the radar, it appears as if most of these showers are off to our east now.  Precipitation will be scattered at best this afternoon, before shower activity picks up once again tonight.

A second cold front, currently in the midwest, moves closer to the region tomorrow.  It will briefly stall over the region on Thursday, before exiting on Friday.  As a result, it looks like Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will continue with our recent theme of wet, cool, and cloudy weather.  Ugh.

The good news is that the weekend looks to be pretty nice.  Drier air will filter in, and we’ll FINALLY  see a return to sunshine.  Temperatures will remain cool though, with highs only in the low to mid 60’s.  FYI, Fall begins on Friday.  Woohoo!
