Cooler Conditions NC 5-24-13

Look for improving conditions throughout the day as cloud cover this morning should clear out by the afternoon.  However, temperatures are going to be MUCH cooler than in recent days as cool high pressure begins to settle in.  A pesky northwest wind will persist as well.

Saturday looks like a beauty, if you don't mind slightly below average temps for this time of year.  A warm front to our south will create a lot of clouds on Sunday.  We should stay dry and temps will be bumped up a few notches from Saturday.

That warm front will slowly track to the north over Monday and Tuesday.  Each day will see a lot of cloud cover and isolated afternoon showers.  Temperatures will be near normal for this time of year.

A Bermuda high sets up in the western Atlantic on Wednesday.  Southerly wind flow will really crank up the temperatures and humidity levels for the second half of the work week.  That also means afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms each day.

Everyone have a Happy Memorial Day!
