More Sun and Warmer Temps

It’s hard to believe it was snowing just a couple days ago.  That memory will be easily forgotten today as we’re going to see warm temperatures and lots of sunshine across the region today.  I decided it was time to break out shorts and sandals for the first time this year!

High pressure continues to control our weather.  Southwesterly flow associated with it will continue to allow for the influx of warmer air into the region.  The high will slide offshore and to the east later today.

A backdoor cold front will then make it’s way into our area by tomorrow night.  Clouds will increase throughout the day tomorrow, and an afternoon shower or thunderstorm is possible.  The rain and clouds will stick around through Saturday night, when the front will lift back to our north.  Temperatures behind the front on Sunday look very warm, with highs in the upper 70’s for most locations.

Another cold front is headed our way on Monday.  Showers and thunderstorms will be accompanying it.  However, it will pass through the region fairly quickly, and by Tuesday we will be dry again.
