Today will feature an abundance of sunshine and seasonable temperatures. It’s going to be really nice outside and a perfect day to get some turns in at the ski areas.
Enjoy today if you can because the next two days look sloppy. A low pressure system is going to bring a mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain into play beginning late tonight/early tomorrow morning. The event looks to start out as snow in the early morning before the mixed bag of precip shows up around midday. After that, it looks downright messy as that mix continues throughout the afternoon and nighttime hours. Saturday will see precip continue but it looks to be all rain unfortunately.
High pressure settles back in on Sunday and sunshine returns. Temperatures warm significantly and after the Friday/Saturday event, it’ll feel amazing.
Monday will see increasing clouds ahead of our next system. The first half of the day looks pretty decent though. Another mix of rain and snow looks to be in store for Monday night and Tuesday.
