Not the Greatest End to the Work Week

After the past few days of summeresque weather, today is going to be somewhat of a washout.  A cold front is currently situated just to our west.  Showers will track along the front throughout the day, making for a less than desirable Friday.

The front is going to dissipate overnight.  Showers will taper off by the early morning hours tomorrow.  The rest of the weekend looks great, with very warm temperatures and lots of sunshine.  There is a  chance of late afternoon showers/thunderstorms for Saturday and Sunday due to daytime heating, so make sure you are prepared for that if you are out and about.

After this front moves through, an upper level ridge is going to reassert itself once again.  This means we’ll see more summer weather through at least the middle of next week.  Enjoy the holiday weekend!
