Our First Taste of Fall NC 9-13-13

A frontal passage overnight will give us our first taste of autumn this weekend.  Quite honestly, the next several days look amazing!

Cool high pressure will begin to build in today.  Leftover cloud cover this morning is already starting to give way to sunshine.  That trend will continue and we're looking at a beautiful afternoon with temps a good 10 degrees cooler than in recent days.

Saturday and Sunday will see much of the same, with Sunday being a few degrees warmer.  Both mornings will be on the chilly side though as we're looking at overnight lows in the 40's.  I love it!

Another cold front is slated to move through the region from the north on Monday.  It's a weak one though and won't have much moisture associated with it, so not much in the way of precipitation is expected.  However, an isolated afternoon shower or two can't be ruled out.

Another reinforcing shot of cool air moves in behind this second frontal passage.  Tuesday through Thursday will feature cool conditions (Thursday will be a little warmer) with a good bit of cloud cover and the daily chance of isolated afternoon showers.
