Spring is MIA for the Next Few Days

Wow, what a difference this week will be in terms of the weather.  Where as last week a very prominent upper level ridge was situated over the east coast, an upper level low is now in its place.  This low will move VERY slowly throughout the work week, bringing much cooler temperatures to the region.  In fact, temperatures tomorrow will only top out in the upper 40’s.  What a bummer.  In addition to the cooler temps, you can expect showers through Wednesday.  Basically, the next few days are going to be pretty terrible, especially after the past few weeks of 70+ degree temperatures.

We will begin a transition back to warmer weather on Thursday.  The upper low will move off to the northeast, and temperatures will rebound into the 60’s.  There will still be a slight chance of some precipitation early on, but the sun should peak through the clouds by the afternoon.  Friday will be quite pleasant with highs in the upper 60’s and partly sunny skies.

The warmup will continue into the weekend where high temperatures will once again get into the 70’s.  Scattered showers will be a possibility but in general it will be pretty nice, especially compared to the next three days.
