If you have enjoyed the warm weather and sunny skies then you’re going to love today. Temperatures today will continue to be unseasonably warm as high pressure remains in control. There is another chance of a late afternoon/early evening shower or thunderstorm, but it is minimal at best and I don’t think we’ll see anything.
Tomorrow will very similar to today but the chance of an afternoon/early evening shower or thunderstorm increases. It will still be quite pleasant during the day though.
A weak cold front will begin to approach the region tomorrow night. This is the same system that has created very severe weather in the Midwest and spawned numerous tornadic storms over the past few days. No worries though, as the system is going to weaken drastically over the next couple of days and does not pose a severe threat to us. However, there will likely be showers and thunderstorms associated with it on Friday though. Temperatures will be cooler but still warm.
Memorial Day weekend will be quite nice. Temperatures each day will increase and we’ll see a return to the low 80’s by Monday. There is a chance of scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms each day, but in general the holiday weekend is looking quite beautiful.
