Sunny Weather in the Forecast

A very quick moving low pressure system passed to our south last night. With it came a an inch or two of snow to the majority of ski areas in the region. This might be the last natural snowfall we see for a while, as a significant change in the weather pattern is taking place. High pressure will quickly build over the region starting today, lasting for at least the next week or so, possibly longer. The skies will clear by midday today, with the sun sticking around throughout the weekend. The next couple of days will be fairly chilly, but high temperatures will increase throughout the weekend. This weekend is a perfect weekend to get on the slopes, as Sunday is looking like a hoodie day!  Check out the individual ski area forecasts to see what I mean.
