Time for a Break from Spring

A strong cold front pushed through the region last night, bringing rain and thunderstorms to most of the area.  This front signals the change in the overall weather pattern for the time being.  Spring is going to take a break, as we are going to see much colder temperatures over the next week or so.

Cloudy skies and gusty winds will persist throughout the day today.  Temperatures will remain fairly chilly, with highs only reaching the mid 40’s.  High pressure will build into the region tomorrow, meaning clear skies and plenty of sunshine is on tap.  That said, temperatures will still only manage to reach the upper 40’s to around 50.

A small disturbance will bring more showers over the weekend, starting later on Saturday and lasting into Sunday.

As always, check your location for a more detailed forecast.
