Typical June Weather NC 6-3-13

A cold front is slowly moving off to the east today.  Expect the clouds to remain and a scattered shower or two is possible this afternoon.

After a foggy start tomorrow morning, Tuesday will see leftover cloud cover from the frontal boundary.  We will see intervals of sunshine and enough moisture will remain to warrant a slight chance of afternoon showers.  Wednesday looks to be very similar to Tuesday.

There is a good bit of uncertainty about what happens on Thursday and Friday.  A tropical low will track up the east coast during this time period.  At the same time, a cold front approaches from the west and is slated to move through on Friday.  Right now, it's a good bet that we'll see showers and thunderstorms each day but how much rain we'll see all depends on the strength of the tropical low.

Precip chances linger into the weekend.
