Weak high pressure will keep sunshine in play today. Temperatures will be much warmer than in recent days. It’s going to be a really nice start to the work week.
Clouds increase overnight ahead of a cold front which will move through the region tomorrow. Expect grey skies and showers to be greeting you when you wake up in the morning. There might be a few flurries in the morning but they will quickly change over to snow. Normally I’d be bummed to see rain in the forecast when the ski areas are about to open, but we need it badly as it’s been very dry around here lately. Rainfall totals won’t be all that impressive though and temperatures will be chilly.
High pressure moves back in on Wednesday and will stick around for several days. Wednesday will see cooler temperatures but it won’t be terribly cold, and then things warm up a bit for Thursday and Friday as we’ll see near normal temperatures for this time of year and a lot of sunshine.
