The frontal boundary that I mentioned yesterday still hasn’t crossed the region yet. As I said, it is a very slow mover! It will eventually cross the region tomorrow. Showers will continue today and tomorrow.

As the front moves through tomorrow, a disturbance will develop and move along the front. This will create more unsettled weather and more rain is expected tomorrow. Things get interesting tomorrow night though as colder air begins to filter in behind the front. Rain will change over to snow tomorrow night and accumulation is expected. Snowfall totals look to be in the 1-2″ range for the resorts.

Snowfall will taper off by Thursday morning as high pressure settles in. Thursday through Sunday look to be sunny but CHILLY.  All of the ski areas should be able to make snow this weekend.
