WV 11/30/11

Snow showers will continue this morning as the remnants of the low pressure system move out of the region.  Expect around half an inch down towards Winterplace and in the range of 1-2 inches for the more northern resorts (Snowshoe, Canaan, Timberline).  These snow showers should taper off by the afternoon.  Temperatures will be quite chilly today and it will be pretty breezy as well.

After today, things will quiet down for the next several days. High pressure begins to build into the region tomorrow and will for the most part stick around through the weekend. The only interruption is a dry cold front that will move through on Friday. Temperatures will rebound nicely tomorrow and will remain on the cool side through Sunday. We’ll see a surplus of sunshine as well.

Our next system of interest does not arrive until Monday. We’ll start to see increased clouds late Sunday before a cold front moves through on Monday.
