A weak warm front is lifting off to the north today.  Showers are expected for the ski areas in the northern portion of the region (Canaan, Timberline, Wisp) while they will be more isolated as you go further south (Snowshoe, Winterplace).  Regardless, everyone will see a lot of cloud cover today.

A cold front begins to approach the region tomorrow.  Showers will pick up in the afternoon as the front edges closer.  Rain will continue into the night time hours before tapering off for the most part by Friday morning.  However, leftover moisture in the region could create light snow showers for northern portions of West Virginia during the day on Friday.

Dry, high pressure builds into the region for the weekend.  Temperatures will be much colder but there will be plenty of sunshine.  It should be a very nice weekend to hit the slopes.
