The cold front that I’ve talked about over the past couple of days has finally moved through the region.  Colder air is starting to filter in behind it and will continue to do so.  As a result, temperatures will be on the decline throughout the day.  Heavy rain will persist into the afternoon before changing over to snow.  Snow showers will taper off by the morning tomorrow but accumulations look to be pretty decent nonetheless.  Snowshoe, Timberline, and Canaan can expect in the range of 4-8 inches while Winterplace is looking at 2-4 inches of the white stuff.

Things clear out quickly tomorrow.  Expect much colder temperatures to stick around throughout the weekend.  A dry cold front will move through late on Friday.  No precip is expected with this system but clouds will be prevalent on Saturday.  Sunday looks to be rather pleasant as  high pressure settles in.
