A cold front moved through overnight, bringing showers to the region. Precipitation has ended but cloud cover does remain this morning. Expect those clouds to move out shortly as the front progresses quickly off to our east. Sunshine returns this afternoon but temps will remain fairly cool and it will be rather breezy. It will be chilly tonight as lows dip below freezing.

The forecast for the weekend is pretty simple. High pressure moves in today and will stick around for awhile. Sunshine and moderating temperatures are the name of the game this weekend.

As that high moves off the east coast by the end of the weekend, wind flow turns to a southerly direction. Warm, moist air moves into the region and temperatures are going to be above normal next week with a chance of scattered showers on Monday and Tuesday. Spring is here.
