Cooler Weather Over the Next Few Days

A cold front passed through the region late last night.  With it, came some rain showers that were very much welcomed.  Winds today will be fairly gusty and temperatures will be a litle cooler than they have been recently.  High pressure will settle over the region for the next couple of days, bringing a return to sunshine, but temperatures will not warm up as much as last week.  We’ll see average temperatures for this time of year with highs in the upper 40’s to low 50’s for many areas.  The ski areas will be a few degrees cooler than that and the possibility to make snow will exist tonight, as temperatures will dip into the mid to upper 20’s.  The next system of interest will enter the region on Thursday, bringing the possibility of some significant rain.  Check the individual forecasts for more detailed info on your area.
