What a rollercoaster week it has been!  We saw 3 to 4 and even up to 5 inches of rainfall in some spots on Monday.  Then, pretty much everyone saw that rain change over to snow yesterday with the ski resorts seeing 3-4 inches or so of the white stuff.  Crazy times!

Any snow showers still out there should taper off here shortly.  Cloud cover should thin as the day goes on but it will be rather breezy and chilly out there.  Everyone will dip below freezing tonight.

After today, things will quiet down for the next several days.  High pressure begins to build into the region today and will for the most part stick around through the weekend.  The only interruption is a dry cold front that will move through on Friday.  Temperatures will rebound nicely tomorrow and will remain fairly mild through Sunday.  We’ll see a surplus of sunshine as well so it will be a bluebird day if you make it to the on of the open ski resorts this weekend.  I know I am pumped for Beech!

Our next system of interest does not arrive until Monday.  We’ll start to see increased clouds late Sunday before a cold front moves through on Monday.
