The Foundation exists to support Blue Ridge Parkway programs and projects related to cultural and historic preservation, education and outreach, natural resource protection, and enhanced visitor amenities. The Foundation’s support of Parkway programs must meet two criteria: to have a lasting value and to enhance the quality of the visitor experience.
The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is nonprofit organization, based in Winston-Salem, NC that raises private funding for the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the most visited units of the National Park system – with over 14 million visitors annually. The Foundation works with the National Park Service, individuals, and organizations to address critical needs along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

As project manager, Brandt serves as a liaison between the Foundation and Blue Ridge Parkway leadership to shepherd projects to completion, including the rehab efforts at the manor house at Moses H. Cone Memorial Park and The Bluffs Restaurant at Doughton Park.
It was the “Bluffs Project” that introduced ResortCams to Kevin and since the implementation of that new camera at The Bluffs Restaurant, Brandt has become a fan.
“We’ve had many webcams installed on the Parkway and the quality of the camera systems just don’t measure up to what we have now at The Bluffs. We’re getting so many compliments, that we want to introduce more cameras through ResortCams.”
Among those being discussed are:
– A new webcam at the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park in Blowing Rock
– Waterrock Knob with elevations and views from 6,293′
– The Blue Ridge Music Center and Amphitheatre near Galax, Va
