There seems to be snow falling in all directions this morning. We have 8″ of new snowfall on the ground, but gusty winds are causing lots of blowing snow. That means there should be powder stashes across our 52 open slopes today. Both Lower Shay’s and Widowmaker were left ungroomed this morning, so you expert powder hounds should head there first. But with several additional inches of snowfall expected throughout the day, there should be fantastic powder conditions everywhere! If you’re making it out for some epic first tracks this morning, be sure to bundle up and wear a windproof outer layer. However you will encounter blowing snow if you’re traveling to or from the resort today.
