After several days of warm and humid conditions, this morning feels somewhat chilly out there. It’s pretty breezy as well so that doesn’t help. Seeing as it’s almost May, I still opted for shorts today. I couldn’t bring myself to bring the jeans back out, although it looks I might have to next week. I’ll get to that in a minute.
There’s not much to say about the next few days. High pressure will be in control through Sunday. Today will be mostly sunny, but on the cooler side with highs only in the low 60’s. It will remain rather breezy throughout the day as well. Clear skies tonight will lead to chilly temperatures. Valley frost is a possibility.
Sunshine continues through the weekend and we’ll warmup a bit as well. Temperatures will be be in the low 70’s for the most part. It’s looking like a fantastic weekend to get outside.
A cold front will begin to approach the region on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will begin in the afternoon and last overnight. The front will move to our south Monday night, where it will stall for a day or so. A separate low will track along it on Tuesday. As a result, Tuesday looks pretty nasty. Much cooler temperatures with rain. Yikes. Wednesday will remain chilly but we will begin to dry out.
