Another Day, Same Story…It’s Hot!

Pleasant, but very warm, weather will continue for the next couple of days.  High pressure both at the surface and aloft remains in place.  Today and tomorrow will once again feature well above average temperatures and plenty of sunshine.

The upper level ridge will begin to degrade somewhat beginning on Thursday.  This will allow for a better chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms each day through Sunday, but even then the chance of seeing precipitation is not guaranteed.  Temperatures will be slightly cooler each consecutive day but the humidity will be noticeably higher.

A cold front will move through the region on Sunday, bringing a much welcomed break from the hot weather.  High temperatures for Sunday and Monday will be near average.  High pressure builds back into the region on Monday.
